Celia told us about the work carried out during her research stay at the Institute of Photonics and Quantum Sciences at Heriot-Watt University (UK). She worked on the ULAE method for the fabrication of silica devices and on the use of a pulsed CO₂ laser for the optical polishing of surfaces. The devices will be used for tasks T2.2 and T3.4 of the project.
